-Built for explosive action in deep water, the Kokanee UV is a spoon-shaped lure with a flashy blue back, and a silver belly that mimics the shimmer of baitfish. Its tight wobble and high-contrast finish make it a deadly choice for lake trout on the hunt.
-Fish it 40 to 70 feet above the lake bottom, where it can trigger savage strikes—lake trout will rocket up, hammer it mid-column, and dive back down with power. Make sure your drag isn’t too tight… this lure is known to make reels scream. Captain Steve recommends running it above a Blue Tiger lure when stacking, creating a layered presentation that drives fish wild.
